Today an interview with Poorvanshi Balaji Rao will be conducted. Interviewing about how to be a better friend.
Panther Press: Hi, it is so wonderful of you, Poorvanshi, to be here. Today I’m going to be interviewing about how to be a good friend.
Rao: Of course.
Panther Press: Are there any good qualities a friend must have?
Rao: Yes, in my opinion I think they should have kindness, honesty, and be caring.
Panther Press: What about the opposite, are there any bad qualities about a friend?
Rao: There are many, for example saying a lot of bad words.
Panther Press: This goes along with the other question but what are the things you feel are red flags in friendships?
Rao: I think that friendship is a red flag if they are not honest and if they spread rumors of bad things about you or your friends.
Panther Press: That is so true anyways my next question about how to be a better friend is how can you deal with jealousy or competition amongst friends?
Rao: I can tell a consular or another friend about the problem.
Panther Press: What are some ways to show your friends appreciation?
Rao: I can make cards for their birthdays, and be nice and support them for their problems.
Panther Press: That is a very good way…the next question is how can you support friends who have different perspectives or beliefs than you?
Rao: For me I would say that it’s okay to have different opinions on stuff and agree with each other.
Panther Press: Then what do you do if you feel like a friend taking you for granted?
Rao: In my opinion I would tell her to stop and stop being friends with her.
Panther Press: But then how do you know it is time to let down a friendship?
Rao: I know when to let down a friendship because if a friend is not here for me and being mean, I would let down that friendship
Panther Press: What do you believe is the biggest challenge in maintaining good friendships?
Rao: I feel like the biggest challenge is getting along with each other.
Panther Press: That is a real challenge regardless how do you define loyalty in a friendship?
Rao: To me loyalty means being honest, and having fun and being included with them.
Panther press: In addition how can/do you celebrate your friends’ success and milestones?
Rao: I would be overjoyed for them and make them a card or something.
Panther Press: That is good way….what advice would someone looking to strengthen their friendship?
Rao: I would give them the advice to be honest, communicate, and to respect boundaries.
Panther press: I would also give the same advice! Anyways In your opinion, what can break a friendship, and how can you repair it?
Rao: Not being honest, being straight up rude, not standing up for them. To fix this they could do the opposite of those things and be good reliable friends.
Panther Press: What is the best way to resolve misunderstandings with friends?
Rao: If there was a misunderstanding I would make them repeat it and understand what they are saying.
Panther press: Lastly, what advice would you give someone who’s struggling to make friends?
Rao: I would give advice to startup conversations and to be yourself!
Panther Press: That was the end of my questions. Is there anything you would like to add?
Rao: No, I would like to add something more.
Panther Press: Then this was a wonderful interview. I hoped you had fun!
Rao: Yes I did!
