Mrs. Agrawal is a math teacher at Iselin Middle School and she is a fun teacher. But, sometimes she can be strict and that’s because she wants us to learn and understand math. One thing I like the most about her is the way she teaches us math, it’s like glued to your mind, and you may never forget, that’s why I chose Mrs. Agrawal to interview.
Panther Press: Do you have any kids? If so, what are their names?
Mrs. Agrawal: I have two kids named Shivank and kriti. My son, Shivank is the oldest, and my daughter, Kriti is the youngest.
Press: Why did you want to become a math teacher?
Mrs. Agrawal: Math always used to be my favorite subject. We were forced to do calculations at my house.
Press: How did math inspire you?
Mrs. Agrawal: Math releases stress and it also uses logical thinking, so this inspired me to become a math teacher
Press: Do you think math is an interesting subject?
Mrs. Agrawal: Math is a really, really, interesting subject. It needs lots of practice to understand math, and it develops your confidence.
Press: What obstacles did you come through before you became a math teacher?
Mrs. Agrawal: I knew that before becoming a teacher I had to complete my college, and get a math certification. That was a big obstacle in my life.
Press: What was your childhood like?
Mrs. Agrawal: My childhood was full of fun, I had a huge family. My family members live in a huge house and we learn from each other.
Press: How was your high school experience?
Mrs. Agrawal: My High School experience? In my High School experience, It was full of work and fun. I selected math as my favorite subject. The only problem I had was that we had very few girls at that time. High School was very busy.
Press: When did you join Iselin Middle School?
Mrs. Agrawal; I joined Iselin Middle School in 2003.
Press: Where was your home before you came here?
Mrs. Agrawal: My home was in India and I lived in a place called Agra (it has no correlation).
Press: Is there any other subject that you like?
Mrs. Agrawal: Yes, I also like science, physics and chemistry.
