Schmidt: I was born on March 9, 1989.
Panther Press: Where were you born?
Schmidt: I was born in Somerville, New jersey.
Panther Press: Do you have any siblings?
Schmidt: No, I am an only child.
Panther Press: Are you married or do you have a girlfriend?
Schmidt: I am not married but I do have a girlfriend.
Panther Press: What is her name?
Schmidt: Her name is Rebecca.
Panther Press: What is one fun fact about you?
Schmidt: I have a tattoo on my right calf.
Panther Press: What college did you go to?
Schmidt: I went to Rowan college in New Jersey.
Panther Press: Why did you want to be a history teacher?
Schmidt: Well, I had a love for history and my mother was a teacher too and it kinda runs in the family.
Panther Press: Why did you want to work at IMS (Iselin Middle School)
Schmidt: It is a nice school. It has great students and my mother worked at JFKHS.( John F. Kennedy High School)
Panther Press: Do you like your job, why or why not?
Schmidt: Yes I do. It’s a nice school with nice kids and I just have a love for history.
Panther Press: How long have you been teaching for?
Schmidt: About 3 years.
Panther Press: When did you become a teacher?
Schmidt: I became a teacher when I was 22.
Press: Did you have any other job before becoming a teacher?
Schmidt: Yeah I had a few.
Panther Press: What other jobs did you have?
Schmidt: Well my first job I had was I washed dishes at a pizza place. I also worked as a retail, bus boy, substitute teacher.
