At the dodgeball tournament, many fun and exciting things happened. Some examples of these fun things are the different grade levels playing with each other, and the cops are also included. The teachers played too, and after that happened, the 8th-grade boys played the teachers and the cops in a dodgeball game.
After all the dodgeball games, the teachers played with the police officers in a basketball game against the 8th-grade boys. Everyone in the crowd had a lot of energy, and they were making chants. At first, the police officers dominated the 8th-grade boys, but they made a comeback later. Nearing the end, the game was close, but the police officers and the teachers won the basketball game.
Mr. McGarry had a lot of fun with the tournament, especially when they changed it up at the end.
“We did something different. We played a 5v5 basketball game with the eighth-grade boys,” McGarry said.
During the dodgeball tournament people were throwing snacks into the stands and people were just having fun. A lot of people tried to interact with the players during the game and sometimes it worked. Overall the dodgeball tournament was very energetic and fun for both the players and the audience.
The dodgeball tournament was very fun, and if they do it again next year, it would be a good experience. The price was $5, and it was worth it to watch the tournament.
Some people may ask why we do the dodgeball tournament.
“This year it was a fundraiser for the American Heart Association,” McGarry said.
