The IMS masquerade dance was on October 30th. Many people came in their costumes and some students won prizes. The categories were Funniest Costume which was won by Divorce Documents. Most Original was won by Squirrel Girl, a character from Marvel. Best Makeup was won by the Scarecrow and the Best Group Costume was won by KFC and the Chicken.
But those weren’t the only costumes at the dance. One girl dressed like Harley Quinn and someone dressed like a cowboy riding a camel. There were a few people dressed as plague doctors, and different animals. But one of the most popular costumes I saw was pirate costumes.
Food and drinks were available to be purchased. Some of these were Gatorade with a few different flavors. Chips and Brisk iced tea were also options.
Beside this, many songs were played at the dance such as ‘Fien,’ which was played twice in a row. Songs that were only played once were ‘Lucid Dreams,’ ‘Not Like Us,’ and ‘Level Up.’ Even, ‘Thick of It’ by KSI was played. Some songs were also played for every one who is celebrating their birthday. Those songs were, ‘It’s Ya Birthday’ and ‘In Da Club.’ To finish out the night they played ‘Fien’ one last time.
“It was great,” said Haley Prajapati when asked what she thought about the dance.
