Joseph Velasco is an eighth grader and a middle school journalist that goes to IMS. He lives in Iselin with his mom, dad, and 2 of his older sisters, Stephanie and Ruby. Velasco also has a dog named Scooby who is a mixed breed. Velasco also grew up in Iselin, NJ and still lives there. In Velasco’s family they have a house still in construction back in their home country, Mexico. They also will be using it as a vacation house whenever they visit. 

Velasco also has a passion for soccer and loves the sport very much. He plays soccer in Colonia, and the name of the team is called Colonia Cosmos. Other hobbies of Velasco are also listening to music a lot, playing video games like FC25, and talking to his friends. Velasco’s favorite artists include Drake, PND, Aventura, Future, and more. His favorite soccer teams are Barcelona, Manchester City, and Club America. He enjoys watching the sport a lot and has fun playing it. Velasco likes watching movies or series, but has specific types and goes based on the title name and cover.
