This is an interview with Mrs. Clark about her being a math teacher. It mainly concerns math; this is what she had answered to the questions in the interview.

Panther Press: How long have you been a math teacher?

Ashley Clark: 15 years.

Press: How do you teach math?

Mrs. Clark: What do you mean?

Press: Like do you do it the fun way like interacting with your students?

Mrs. Clark: Okay yeah I do, we interact, we play games, and do board activities.

Press: Okay, do you love teaching math?

Mrs. Clark: Yes.

Press: When you were in middle school like us, was math challenging for you?

Mrs. Clark: Yes.

Press: Do you like challenges though?

Mrs. Clark: Now yes.

Press: Okay, did you do well in math?

Mrs. Clark: I was an average C student.

Press: Right now, how well are your students doing in math?

Mrs. Clark: Good and Bad.

Press: Okay, do you have a favorite student?

Mrs. Clark: I do not.

Press: How do you grade the papers? Like the calculator or the traditional way?

Mrs. Clark: What do you mean about the traditional way?

Press: The ways you got taught in middle school. Do you use it that way or not?

Mrs. Clark: No, I grade them based on a point scale.

Press: Alright, does anyone from your family also teach math?

Mrs. Clark: No.

Press: How much do you respect/love Iselin Middle School?

Mrs. Clark: Oh I love Iselin Middle School, it’s one of my favorite schools.

Press: Ok thank you that is it.

Ciander Sanciancgo is a student at IMS. He is a 6th grader like his colleagues. He lives in the suburbs with his family. He is the 2nd son of the 3 brothers. His older brother’s name is Caden who is currently an 8th grader, and his younger brother’s name is Calieb, who is a 2nd grader. Sanciangco mostly grew up in the Philippines, grew up in Nevada, but then moved and currently lives in New Jersey. His age right now is 11. He loves playing Roblox. Even though he enjoys playing multiplayer video games like Roblox he has hobbies like singing, sports, and playing one-player video games. His favorite snack is chocolate because it is really sweet. Also, he has many friends but likes to be isolated so he can relax from talking to his peers. His favorite place to go is the beach.

Ayaan Nadeem, Reporter

Ayaan Nadeem is a student at IMS. He lives with his Mom, Brother, his Dad, his Cat, and 8 fishes. He lives very close to the school 4 minutes away. He grew up in Long island New York and moved to Iselin New Jersey in 2020. He loves his cat so much. Most of his dads side of the family is in Pakistan. His moms side of the family is in Michigan. He always thought of animals when he was little so he wanted to be an animal doctor to help all the sick animals. He used to love bunnies when he was little but now he loves cats a little too much.

Rushil Patel, Reporter

Rushil Patel is a student in IMS. He was born and raised in Iselin, NJ. He lives very close to Merrill Park, and close to Iselin Middle school. He is in 6th grade at IMS. Patel always likes to play on his PS5 everyday after school around 4:30pm.-5:30p.m. Patel is a fast runner and good at math. He likes to do science experiments. Patel also goes to basketball and soccer practice too. He plays Basketball and Soccer with his friends too.
