Mr. Wasko in his room.

Mr. Wasko is a new teacher here at IMS. He teaches English Language Arts at room 508. He is a very silly teacher, and he loves to read books. This is All About Mr. Wasko so you can get to know him.

Press: Hey Mr. Wasko, how are you doing today?

Mr. Wasko: I am doing wonderfully.

Press: Shall we start the interview now?

Mr. Wakso: Yes you may, absolutely.

Press: How did you start your ELA career?

Mr. Wasko: I loved books and I worked as a camp counselor and I figured why not do both.

Press: What is your favorite thing to teach throughout the school year?

Mr. Wasko: Arguments and debates. I like when kids argue, it’s fun.

Press: Do you have any kids?

Mr. Wasko: I do, I have two.

Press: What are their names?

Mr: Wasko: My son’s name is Jackson, he is nine, and I have a daughter named Zoey, she is two.

Press: How do you feel about kids eating gum in class?

Mr. Wasko: I hate it, I despise it, it should stop.

Press: How do you keep your kids engaged in your class?

Mr. Wasko: By being as silly as possible.

Press: What are your expectations for your students in your class?

Mr. Wasko:To get straight As or I will be furious.

Press: How do you make your class fun for your students?

Mr. Wasko: It’s not fun at all. I’m the 3rd meanest teacher in the Eastern Seaboard.

Press: What do you love most about teaching ELA?

Mr. Wasko: Honestly, when a kid enjoys a book he didn’t know he would like.

Press: Is there anything you want to add?

Mr. Wasko: Nope that’s it.

There is somebody named Krish. P and he’s a 6th-grade student at IMS. He lives in Iselin, NJ, with his parents, grandparents from his mom’s side, and little sister Aarvi. Krish grew up in Jersey City, where his grandparents from his dad’s side live. His hobbies include playing the guitar, collecting Pokemon cards, and playing games like COD. However, his favorite thing is playing sports like cricket or soccer. His favorite soccer players include Ranaldo, Messi, and Neymar.

Ved Patel, Reporter

Ved Patel a 6th grade student at Iselin Middle School. He lives in Iselin with his parents and his younger sister. He was born in India, and came to the United States in 2015 when he was 1 year old. His favorite thing to do since he was little was to play soccer. He had a lot of friends growing up. He loves playing sports but he likes going to Six Flags with his family and friends more. Patel has a lot of hobbies, like playing soccer, going to Top Golf, playing basketball, etc. He likes watching TV and playing Roblox and other games in his spare time.

Daniel Taistra, Reporter

Daniel Taistra is a student at IMS. He lives in a small neighborhood next to Route 9. Taistra grew up in Iselin and went to School #18. Taistra lives with his parents Rafal and Monica. Taistra has a sister Natalia and a dog named Luna.

Taistra plays for a soccer team that his dad coaches. Some of his hobbies include going to the JFK field and playing soccer. He likes to build legos and go to the Red Bulls stadium to watch a soccer game and see some nice fireworks.
