Mr. Drucquer has been teaching at Iselin Middle School (IMS) for 1 year. Mr. Drucquer has been in love with sports and exercising since he was in middle school. Today, we asked Mr. Drucquer about his PE experience and history.
Mr. Drucquer: I coach football at JFK.
Panther Press: What grade do you enjoy teaching the most?
Mr. Drucquer: I like the 6th grade this year, I think that the 6th grade is the best this year, but I do like teaching all the grades. 7th and 8th as well.
Panther Press: What are your hobbies outside of school?
Mr. Drucquer: My hobbies outside of school are hanging out with friends, going to the beach, playing sports like volleyball, basketball and football. I also like watching sports as well.
Panther Press: Who do you think supports you the most?
Mr. Drucquer: I would say my family more than anything. Me and my brother are really close as well.
Panther Press: What’s your favorite sport in gym class?
Mr. Drucquer: I really enjoy California Kickball, I think that is my favorite sport in gym class.
Panther Press: Was it different for you when you were in middle school?
Mr. Drucquer: Definitely a lot different. It’s been probably 15-20 years since I’ve been in middle school, things were a lot different. We used to change our clothes for gym class. Things were definitely different.
Panther Press: If you could do any other job what would it be and why?
Mr. Drucquer: I’d be a firefighter. I don’t know why, being a firefighter seems cool. I have a lot of friends that were firefighters, it seems like a cool, fun thing to do.
Panther Press: What is one of your biggest dreams that you’d like to accomplish?
Mr. Drucquer: The biggest dream I’d want to accomplish is too… My dream is to be happy for the rest of my life and I work to accomplish that everyday.
Panther Press: Who’s your idol?
Mr. Drucquer: My idol is Mr. McGarry, he’s the best.
Panther Press: Is there anything else that you would like to add?
