Mr. Vazquez’s favorite football team is the Los Angeles Rams. He became a Rams fan from his half-brother at the age of ten.
His favorite football team is the Los Angeles Rams, and he owns almost all the clothing and every jersey. He is a huge fan.
Mr. Vazquez became a fan when he was 10 years old. He has a half- brother. His parents were married. They both had kids and they got divorced and met each other and had them.
His parents are immigrants so Mr. Vazquez’s dad is from Puerto Rico. His dad liked baseball but nobody watched football. His brother was sent to Saint Louis. We had family there and the Rams were playing there at the time.
So he got to go to the Edward Jones Dome and he came back after a year because, “it wasn’t better than Newark.”
Mr. Vazquez’s brother said to Mr. Vazquez, “Yo lets watch the Rams!”
So he watched them a couple times and “they were pretty good” and he watched the starting quarterback getting hurt in the preseason, Trent Green. That’s when Kurt Warner won them the Super Bowl.
“He was super inspiring to me when I was ten and that’s when I’ve been a fan ever since.”
Currently, Matthew Stafford is Mr. Vazquez’s favorite player, but a close second is Puka Nacua.
“He is a 5th round pick that just blew up and is the best wide weceiver in the NFL,” Vazques said.
Mr. Vazquez’s thoughts are that they’re a little scary to him, but it’s a little rough how they’ve been playing the past few past few games. They played down to their competition.
“I think that we have the best team in football but they just don’t always play to the highest potential. When you get teams like that you don’t feel too good about them.”
Mr. Vazquez’s favorite thing about the Rams is the way they come back.
“They respond to adversity,” Vazques said. “That’s why they [went] so far in the playoffs.”
“I think the NFL was unbelievably competitive this season, I think everybody noticed. You saw teams in the playoffs that you haven’t seen in years, that’s really cool,” Vazques said.
Mr. V predicts that the Rams are going to be good next year because the Rams have 2 first round picks and the 13th pick and they are in the playoffs. They haven’t got 13 since they got Aaron Donald.
Mr. Vazquez has been to two Rams games. One was in Saint Louis “which was nuts.” And one in the colosseum, but he has never been to SoFi yet. So his goal is next year to make it out to a game in California.
Mr. V thinks the biggest impact on the Rams is Matthew Stafford, he can read the defense and understands the scheme, he is the key.
