Niylah Hutcherson talks about what she thinks is the best sport at North Brunswick Middle School.

Genesis Wadley:In your opinion what do you think is the best sport and why?

NH: I think basketball is the best sport because it has a lot of the best players. It is also a simple game that is easy to play in my opinion.

Aniyah Louis-Charles: Do you think any other sport can be better than basketball?

NH:Yes I also think that football is a good sport because it runs in my family and I can sit there being entertained by it. Before I found love for basketball I was very interested in football because it seemed very cooperative and my uncle played when he was younger and taught me about it and how to play.

AL: How has basketball impacted your personality?

NH: Basketball has helped me stay active and move. It also taught me discipline and how to work with others as a team. Playing or just watching makes me feel happy and motivated.

GW: Do you see yourself still playing basketball in the future?

NH: Yes I do see myself continuing with basketball, But I would only want to play for my school or just for fun. I want to keep improving my skills and I want to enjoy my time doing that.

Aniyah Louis-Charles is a student at IMS. She recently moved from North Brunswick with her dad. She was born in New Brunswick and moved middle school 3 times. She has 5 siblings, 2 older brothers, 1 younger brother and 2 younger sisters. She loves listening to music and dancing in her free time. When she’s not doing those things, she watches tv and enjoys her time. She never played any sports but she wants to play volleyball, flag football and basketball. She enjoys eating and talking to her friends. She can be quiet at times especially if she doesn’t know you but when she’s around the right people she’s very talkative and has a lot of energy.

Genesis W. is a student at IMS. She lives with her two little sisters and sees her little brothers every weekend. She lived in places such as Perth Amboy, Carteret, Woodbridge, and recently moved to Iselin. She loves listening to music, shopping, sleeping, trying new foods, watching her favorite tv shows such as Stranger Things, Baddies USA, and lastly spending time with her family. She also likes to color, play games like Roblox and Fortnite.
