Ms. Weiser is a gym teacher at Iselin Middle School. She coaches the volleyball team, and she likes to play volleyball in her spare time.
Weiser used to play volleyball on the beach when she was little, so she would look forward to doing that. Playing on the beach is what made her get into volleyball.
In volleyball, she likes to serve the ball. She can always improve this spot and likes that. You never know where the ball is going to go.
Whether players are communicating with each other or not, if they pay attention, they use two hands when they hit the ball.
In gym class, she does different things so kids don’t get bored, and in the gym, they play different types of games. One day they’ll do scooter games, the next basketball or volleyball.
If the volleyball team wins, she’s happy. If they don’t, they talk about why they lost, and she doesn’t show that she is mad.
She also played volleyball when she was younger . She also said that she likes to play volleyball with the team as she says that she gets bored by playing by herself and finds it hard .
She didn’t win, but she played in a tournament in the summer, and she got second place, so she didn’t get anything. She said that if she won, she would get a t-shirt.
She said that there are one or two hits a team can do in volleyball and when the ball goes over the net and the ball doesn’t get hit back u get a point. Or if the ball touches the ground before going over the net.
She said that there are 6 people in one team and 6 in another team and if the ball lands in the boundary, they keep playing; if the ball lands out of the boundary line, it’s out, but in a real game, it would be the ref’s call.
