Mr. Herbeck is the coach of the IMS Bowling Team and is a P.E. teacher here. We wanted to interview Mr. Herbeck about his favorite songs, artists, and types of music because it was something interesting and we thought the questions were perfect for Mr. Herbeck.
Press: Hello Mr. Herbeck!
Mr. Herbeck: Hello!
Press: How are you today?
Mr. Herbeck: I’m doing great!
Press: We were just wondering what your favorite type of music is.
Mr. Herbeck: My favorite type of music is called grudge… or 90s Rock.
Press: Why is that?
Mr. Herbeck: Because that is the type of music I grew up listening to.
Press: Interesting.
Press: Okay, now who is your favorite singer or artist if you have one
Mr. Herbeck: My favorite band is called Pearl Jam.
Press: Nice!
Press: Why do you like that artist’s music so much?
Mr. Herbeck: It was one of the first concerts I ever went to and I have seen them more than 30 times in concert!
Press: Cool! What is your favorite song by your favorite artist?
Mr. Herbeck: Alive.
Press: What is your overall favorite song? Is it still “Alive”?
Mr. Herbeck: It does change from time to time but yes “Alive” is my all time favorite.
Press: What is your favorite song to dance to?
Mr. Herbeck: My favorite song to dance to is.. well I really don’t like to dance, is “Cotton Eye Joe.”
Press:Now that we know your favorite song, what’s your least favorite song or just music that you don’t like?
Mr. Herbeck: I do not like country music, so anything that is country.
Press: Last question, if you were to come up with a song what would it be about?
Mr. Herbeck: The song would be about my high school and college years which are my favorite.
