Mrs. Baldesweiler is a devoted pet owner who has enjoyed the companionship of several animals over the years.
Currently, she lives with two cats named Sugar and Waffles, but her experience with pets goes back much further.
“I used to have two cats before—they passed away—and a dog when I was little,” she recalls, reflecting on her lifelong bond with animals.
She finds that taking care of her pets is usually easy, although problems may occur.
“Usually, it’s easy, but sometimes they cough up these disgusting hairballs, and I have to clean them up,” Baldesweiler said.
She appreciates that cats are low-maintenance.
“Cats are easy to take care of because you don’t have to walk them, and when I am gone, they usually nap,” she explains.
Sugar, who is 12 years old, doesn’t enjoy playing much, while Waffles, who is 11, will play for a few minutes.
Mrs. Baldesweiler’s two other cats, who had passed away, were named Smore and Boggie. There was also a dog from her childhood named Amber.
