Artificial Intelligence, also known as AI, is growing more and more everyday. Many people believe that as per how AI is currently growing we can say that it will have a big role in the future and a lot of people will be dependent on it.
However, there are some people too who think that AI will not work as we are expecting in the future, because AI can replace people’s jobs and without jobs, people may not be happy with AI. In this article, we will discuss how AI is shaping and growing day by day.
A Math Teacher at Iselin Middle School, Mrs. Chiera, believes that, “AI will have an impact on our future and people will have to figure out how to manage it in terms of school.”
She thinks that AI could not replace jobs because, “there is always a part of the human component that AI cannot replace.”
She feels that AI can make life easier, “if you are using it appropriately.” but she also notes that it can create complications in life so basically she explains that AI can have both benefits and challenges in the upcoming future.
Mrs. Chiera believes that it can’t truly improve the world as she said, “I don’t, probably not.” Technology may assist but real growth comes from humans only.
On the topic of whether AI can be more skilled than humans or not, her opinion was that, “No, no way. I think emotions, feelings are more important than computers,” she said, highlighting the importance of humans too.
She added that AI can only assist in day to day work and not fully do it as she said, “ I think it (Artificial Intelligence) can assist with the day to day work, I don’t know if it can do the day to day work.”
Mrs. Chiera mentioned that AI will likely be used in some jobs because she said, “ I do think that there are some jobs where AI will probably be implemented.” She does feel that human work will also be important as well in the future.
Mrs. Chiera believes that AI can support people instead of being a whole replacement while it can help and make it easier if used appropriately but still it cannot be a whole replacement for humans. She believes that people can be dependent on the future but it also depends on how people manage and use it.
