Harshit Patel is a middle school student at IMS. He is very smart and intelligent. And for the past 2 marking periods he got the high honor roll and scored all A’s. Harshit also practices and speaks 4 languages, English, Spanish, Hindi, Chinese, and Jamaican.
Harshit Patel’s favorite subject is mathematics and he exceeds all his teachers expectations, quickly raising his hand when asked a question. He studies a lot in biology as well.
In his free time outside of school, he plays with his soccer friends outside, and when they are not over, he studies for all his exams. Patel works hard to make his loving mom very pleased with him.
Harshit this year switched from band to journalism to try and perfect his writing. Harshit wants to learn how to interview and write about other people who study biology. He is very interested in interviewing teachers also.
Harshit read about 50 different books in 15 days. And Harshit’s favorite book is Harry Potter. Harshit is very interested in reading because it enhances imagination and skills.
Harshit was born in Jamaica. When he was 6, he moved to California to Illinois then to New Jersey. His early life here consisted of no troubles just going to school and studying.
