eMr. Schmidt is a history teacher at IMS for the 7th grade. Schmidts mom has worked at JFK for 29 years. Schmidt was inspired by his mom. Schmidt’s history teacher, who was very kind and very funny, also inspired him.
Some things Schmidt likes to do at home are playing video games, watching YouTube, talking to friends, working on his car, and going on walks. A typical Saturday for Mr. Schmidt involves trying to sleep as long as possible. Schmidt used to be able to sleep until the afternoon, but now Schmidt sleeps until 10 a.m.
If he wasn’t a teacher, Schmidt would become a mechanic because he likes cars. Mr. Schmidt thinks he is a likeable person because he is easy going and funny. Mr. Schmidt would rather teach his favorite class then stay at home because staying at home will get boring.
He tries to make his class more fun so kids in his class have more of a reason to pay attention. Mr. Schmidt tries to make his class fun and thinks that most of his students like him, including some kids who aren’t even his students.”Like Ms.Ava Thurman”.
The most challenging thing about teaching for Mr. Schmidt is dealing with all the students’ behaviors every class is different so he has to adapt to all the challenges. Mr Schmidt’s class is in some ways hard but he tries to make it fun.
