David Vizian is one of the three 8th grade science teachers at Iselin Middle School and his years of teaching and studying science has influenced his way of how he views how science affects society, where he came up with many ideas to improve everyday life.
Vizian found interest in science from a young age, where he spent his education to become a science teacher. Science has a part in everything, and Vizian has ideas how it can be used for the betterment of society.
Vizian states that food will be impacted in a major way in the future, by predicting that the way we produce, cultivate, and collect food will be changed in the near future. If he were to invent an item in the next 20 years, his main priority would be to focus on water.
“No clean water equals lots of disease,” Vizian said. He states that clean water is already not available in many places and is a problem today, and we need to find a solution that would provide individuals with access to clean water all over the world.
Vizian has concerns about how AI will affect the future. He says he thinks AI will make life more difficult for us in the future, stating that we won’t know that if we know whether or not information is true.
“We have the best teachers at IMS, the teachers that we have here are awesome,” Vizian states. He says technology is making school worse, and we need to go back to the original pen and paper to improve our writing skills.
Vizian says that nuclear energy is the way to go in the future. “A lot of people are banking on Nuclear energy, because it’s clean and their way to go, as long as we make it safer.”
“Space science is fake,” he said jokingly. He believes we can use resources from other planets for our benefits, if we can live anywhere else, and to check if they are other living beings other than us.
The most exciting part of the future of science to him is to improve technology and to see what we can have. He questions if we can have flying cars or new ways to grow better food.
Vizian is excited for any student who is interested in learning about science and is always eager to teach and guide on whatever is on their mind. He believes that the future of science will be better and more advanced.
