David Reeg is an eighth grader at IMS. He lives in Iselin with his mother. He was born in New Jersey, and has lived there his whole life. He also has two cats, named Link and Zelda. Their names were inspired by his favorite video game franchise, The Legend of Zelda.

In his free time, he excels at solving Rubik’s cubes. He is most notorious among his friends for having solved the 3×3 Rubik’s cube in 15.15 seconds with an average of 19.19. He also does karate, and is currently training for his third degree black belt. After about nine years of training he is predicted to earn it on Friday, May 22, 2026.
