Shafia Masroor is a 6th grader at Iselin Middle School and is currently 11 years old. She lives in Iselin, NJ with her parents and three siblings. Masroor was born in Boston, Massachusetts but moved to her current home when she was very young. Her favorite part of the day is when she wakes up early in the morning in the quiet of sunrise.

Although she loves the silence, Masroor also likes to be alone. “It helps me think and gather my thoughts,” she says. Her favorite colors are Green, red, and black she also loves horses and dogs as well as cats. Her hobbies include watching sports, reading, adventuring, and drawing. Masroor’s favorite books include: Percy Jackson, Keeper of the Lost Series,  Harry Potter, and Number the Stars. Her favorite football teams include the Eagles and Bengals, while she also likes the Mercedes team in Formula 1.  Whether cheering for her favorite players or reading a new book, Masroor will always be ready for the next adventure.
