- Summer’s here—and Summer EBT will help you get ready for it. NJ will send a one-time $120 Summer EBT benefit card to eligible children's homes to purchase nutritious food at participating retailers. To determine eligibility or update your contact information, please contact your child’s school. Important: Dual participation in the Summer EBT program is not allowed. Eligible children may only receive one Summer EBT card each year and can not use benefits from more than one state.
